Terms of Use

Version 1  ·  Last updated: August 10, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Saba Riazi, based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"), and they govern your use of the Oracle Fate iOS application and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Oracle Fate.

What Oracle Fate is for

Oracle Fate offers astrology-based readings, predictions, and guided practices for reflection, inspiration, and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind — medical, psychological, financial, legal, or otherwise, and no reading should take the place of someone qualified to advise you. A reading is an interpretation, not a statement of fact about what will happen, and we do not guarantee outcomes. What you decide, and what you do, remains yours.

Each reading is composed for you from your birth chart, the sky at the time, and whatever you have chosen to share. A symbolic reading is open to interpretation by nature — two people can hold the same one and find different things in it — and it is offered as something to think with rather than a set of instructions to follow. How your details are processed to compose one is set out in the Privacy Policy.

A reading is personal to your chart, but it is not exclusive to you. Two people born under a similar sky, asking a similar question, may be given similar readings.

If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services — not the Oracle.

Who may use it

Your content

The notes, conversations, photos, and files you add to your vault remain yours — and so do the name, photo, and bio on your profile. You give us only the permission we need to store and process them, to show your profile to the people you connect with, and to share what is necessary with the providers who operate parts of the service on our behalf. That permission exists to run Oracle Fate for you and for nothing else — we claim no ownership, we do not use your content to advertise, and we do not use it to train anyone's models.

Do not upload content you have no right to share. When you add another person's details — a chart for someone who does not use the app, or your contacts — you confirm you are entitled to do so.

Community, and the line we draw

Oracle Fate lets you connect with friends, join a Tribe, and set a profile with a name, photo, and bio. Where you can be seen by others, these rules apply, and we enforce them.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post, send, or display anything that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive, or unlawful, and do not impersonate anyone.

Sexual content involving a minor is absolutely forbidden. It ends the account permanently, and we report it to the authorities.

Subscriptions and purchases

Apple is the seller for App Store purchases, so your contract for a subscription or in-app item is with Apple, while these terms govern your use of the service. Any statutory right to cancel — including the 14-day withdrawal right EU and UK consumers have for distance contracts, and how it applies to digital content you begin using straight away — is handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

Invitations and referrals

We may offer rewards for inviting friends. Invitations must go to people you actually know and who want them. Creating accounts to claim your own rewards, or spamming invite links, voids the rewards and may cost you your account.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

You may use Oracle Fate for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, for as long as you keep to these terms. (The licence to install the app is Apple's, as described below.)

The Oracle Fate name, sigil, app, interface, artwork, and the words we write are ours, and are protected by intellectual property law. The readings composed for you are yours to keep and to share — sending a Vision card to a friend, posting it to social media — and we would rather you did. Reproducing the app's content at scale, or passing it off as your own, is another matter.

Availability and change

We work to keep the Oracle available day and night, but the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Features will evolve; we may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Where a change is material and disadvantages you, we will give reasonable notice.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control — a hosting or network outage, the failure of a service we depend on, an attack on our systems, or an act of government.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that readings are accurate, that predictions come true, or that the service will be error-free.

Nothing here excludes the statutory rights of consumers, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to Oracle Fate is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or €50.

Indemnity

If your breach of these terms, or your misuse of the service, causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to indemnify us against that claim and its reasonable costs. This does not apply where the claim results from our own act or omission.

Termination

You may stop using Oracle Fate at any time and delete your account in Settings, which deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately, in your Apple account.

Apple

Your licence to install and use the app itself is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. These terms govern the service — your account, your content, the community, and what you buy. Apple is not a party to them and is not responsible for Oracle Fate or its content.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and disputes will be heard by the competent courts of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We would much rather resolve it directly. Before starting proceedings, please write to us setting out the problem and what you would like us to do, and give us 60 days to put it right. This does not take away your right to go to court — as a consumer you always have that — but most things are settled faster this way.

The rest

If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stands. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business, which will not reduce your rights. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Oracle Fate.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will update this page and note it in the app. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
